Abstract
Enlarged tonsils and adenoids and enlargement of lymphoid tissues may induce OSA as well as craniofacial skeletal changes. Before T & A is recommended in the prepubertal years, craniofacial morphometric evaluation of children with OSA may be warranted, to identify patients at risk of persisting or recurrent symptoms later in life and those needing consideration for possible orthodontic treatment.
